On Saturday, we had our first in-person delivery of our new Carbcutter snares. BONE family member Aleš Kajtna stopped by, on his birthday no less, to pick up his fully customized new Carbcutter. Aleš opted for one of our one-off shells, a slim little 5x14'' firecracker, and upgraded to die-cast hoops. He wasn't even home an hour before sending us the message above👆

One of our many carbon and wood hybrid projects from a while back. 2+5+2 construction, with plies of premium carbon fiber sandwiching a core of warm maple. These hybrid shells are resonant and popping, a real treat to play. And that shine on the shell is just the carbon itself, exactly how it fell out of the mold we made to shape it in house. No polishing, no lacquer, just pure class👌

Walnut burl is one of the most popping grains out

Walnut burl is one of the most popping grains out there, here applied to two different, but equally gorgeous and thwacking snares. The 14'' nickel black hardware snare features walnut burl over a birch shell, and the gold hardware is adorning a 13'' bubinga shell with walnut burl.

The nickel black birch/walnut burl is still available in our shop, but the gold bubinga/walnut has already found its home. We hope choosing your favorite of the 2 is the hardest decision you had to make this week 😉🤘

This is the BONE Full Carbon beast, a prototype snare we produced a few years ago just to show it could be done. Dark and deep, this sucker roars.
The boss says the Full Carbon is even strong enough to drive a truck over, but for some reason he won't let us try... 🤔 Luckily, we're already working on molds to turn the FC into a serial model. After all, working with carbon and other composites in our drums is exactly what we do best.
